1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using AI Edit Hero ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Service Description

AI Edit Hero is an AI-powered image editing platform that allows users to edit images using natural language prompts. The Service utilizes third-party AI providers to process and modify user-uploaded images.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Usage Limits and Credits

• Credits are consumed when you edit or generate images
• Paid subscriptions provide monthly credit allowances
• One-time credit packages are also available for purchase
• We reserve the right to modify usage limits with reasonable notice

5. Content and Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of images you upload to the Service
• You grant us a limited license to process your images for the purpose of providing the Service
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and edit any images you submit
• You may not upload images that violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights

6. Prohibited Content and Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or create illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or offensive content
• Create deepfakes of any kind — including but not limited to replacing or superimposing a person's face or likeness onto another image, generating synthetic media that depicts real individuals in fabricated scenarios, or producing any AI-manipulated imagery designed to misrepresent reality
• Perform face swaps — transferring, blending, or substituting one person's facial features onto another person's image is strictly prohibited, regardless of intent
• Generate any AI-manipulated content intended to deceive, defraud, harass, defame, or mislead others
• Create non-consensual intimate imagery or any sexually explicit content involving real individuals
• Produce content that impersonates real individuals, public figures, or private persons without their explicit consent
• Create content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer or abuse the underlying AI systems
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without a paid subscription

Automated content safety filters are active on all image generations and edits to help prevent prohibited content. See our Acceptable Use Policy for additional details.

Violation of these prohibited use policies may result in immediate account termination without refund. We actively monitor for misuse and reserve the right to report violations to the appropriate authorities.

7. Payment, Subscriptions, and Refund Policy

7.1 Billing

• Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance
• Payment is processed securely through our payment provider
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Price changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice

7.2 Subscription Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
• Your account will revert to the free tier after the billing period ends
• Unused credits do not carry over after cancellation

7.3 Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with our Service. Our refund policy is as follows:

• 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or subscription renewal
• Technical Issues: If you experience persistent technical issues that prevent you from using the Service and we cannot resolve them, you may be eligible for a prorated refund
• Credit Consumption: Refunds are generally not provided for consumed credits, as the AI processing costs are incurred at the time of use
• Duplicate Charges: Accidental duplicate charges will be refunded in full upon verification
• Fraudulent Transactions: Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions will be refunded following investigation

7.4 Customer Support

7.5 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at support@aiedithero.com with:

• Your account email address
• Date of the transaction
• Reason for the refund request

Refund requests are typically processed within 5-10 business days. Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method.

8. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Edit Hero and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
